Max of 6 attendees on this event

Rob took or organising the first one.

I'll take on organising the second one.

We have an opening for the 5/6 May. So please reply to this thread if you are interested in either and which is your preference if you have one

I think this was the list from the last thread.

Well worth doing, just make sure you're not number 7 (i.e. on the reserves list!) Two of you will be disappointed at least.

If I could justify the money, I'd do it again after the suspension has finally been done (but unfortunately at the moment, the next spend is earmarked for windscreen surrounds and front PU).

Kim, if you read this (or anyone out there sees him) try to talk him into this, it's not cheap but it is worth every penny, and I think would put his original concerns to bed, which is where this all started.

As I said in the other thread, this is the best money spent on the car after the HID's (which now don't work Evil or Very Mad), so by default now No.1 until ToreB's kit turns up.

Echoing Tony's view Kim! Go for it!

Sorry boys, have something booked in at Brands now. To be honest, it was a bit too expensive for me and I was only interested in oversteer and a skid pan, so probably would have been a bit wasted on me. Thanks for your thoughts! Have fun!

Pity as I don't believe it would have been a waste

For me it allowed me to put aside the rumour and myth of the handling of the 993 and benefit for specific 1st hand knowledge that allowed me to proper understand how my car and the 993 handles, most of which was learnt away from the skid pan (skid pan, which was a bit of fun)

Ok, ok, just so you can all laugh at my lack of skills and panic stricken face at high speed I could be on for this.....

Just got to check the dates, do you know which day yet? Looks like a great learning curve, especially for me as a track virgin.....and this has to be a good thing to do before Bedford.

The Clinch.....I totally blame you. (txt sent btw re earlier chat!)

I am so easily led......

Mr LeCock, it would be great if you could join us!

It will be the weekend of the 5/6th May. We chose either day and everyone else is cool with either the Sat or Sun...

Thinking about it, as Monday is a bank holiday, it will probably be better to do it on the Sunday so we can drive up Sat night or early Sun morning (and back home Sun night) thus avoiding the Friday night or Sat Morning long weekend traffic.

Thoughts others?
