Hi all,

Had the car for about 3 weeks and I'm loving it.
It is by far the best car I've ever owned.

Pros:
too many to mention, stunning looks, superb comfort and handling.

cons:
mainly the minor things.
stop start times out which is annoying
mpg is not as good as stated officially

All in all, no regrets and am constantly smiling while driving

Good news, the mpg should hopefully improve as the engine beds in and you stop showing off your new toy :puh:

True, showing off should help. 8)

Agree. wouldn't advise on the sunroof, pretty useless.

Congrats Enjoy !

Looks good in the pics, thanks for sharing.

how are you finding the PDK with buttons as opposed to the paddle option ?

Very nice, is that the Burmeister option? How does it sound?

I see the chrono clock is integrated into the dash a bit better than the 997, but not quite as neat a solution as in the new Boxster?

Totally agree FXT.

i am having similar problems with Stop/Start.

Are you also having problems with the "Hold" function that is supposed to apply the brakes (ABS not Parking Brake apparently) when on a hill to stop the car from rolling back?

Don't usually like the 911 in white but that car looks well.

Initial reports look favourable but as you highlighted the fuel consumptions don't appear to be too positive.

By far the best in terms of mpg were my 993 so maybe it's a water-cooled trait.

Enjoy......and sod the mpg
