GT1 looks amazing but a nightmare below about 60mph!

The original question was "Which one would you take?", not "buy". Very Happy

Good point... the GT1 would be easier to steal and hotwire being a racecar

GT1

the CGT may well be a better car, but its not a GT1

btw, does the fried-egg lamp GT1 still have any 993 bits or by this stage was there a 996 shell lurking within?

The floor panel from the B-post forward to the front bulkhead of the "boot", including the firewall, dash panel and front inner wing panels were carried over from the 993, as were (in the street version) the instruments.

Funnily enough, the street version of the GT1 used the same Hamilton & Palmer immobiliser which UK market 993s had been fitted with.

Surely the best car in the world: a fried-egg with GT1 block?

If it had been a '98 GT1 I would take that, otherwise Carrera GT just wins.......

Geneva plates on both cars. That gets me thinking..... I'll check with the Geneva Porsche Club and see if anyone there are the owners. Perhaps can organize a test drive... Cool
