If your sources are suggesting £1000+ I'd strongly recommend you sell it to them. I'm pretty sure their offer will beat most people's offers from here.

Oh well, I had better go and wind up a mechanical engineer with a BSc instead.
 
PS - you know Subaru help design the Porsche AWD drive train?

The sytem was Subaru designed for 993 and redesigned for the 996 (for weight saving primarily).
