Hello - if you have a set of these lurking in your loft, let me know... they dont have to be in Tip Top condition but must be serviceable and PLEASE no huge dings and dents or buckled...

Wow, I don't hold out on you getting any but good luck anyway.

Out of interest why do you want these? Not happy with your new car?

The Speedlines, IIRC, apart from costing an arm, a leg and a kidney are liable to suffer from stress fatigue cracking aren't they?I understand the centres are magnesium, so are light but any damage cant be repaired which is why most owners do not use them much apart from special occasions. SO if they do come up for sale they are snapped up by the few who do have the funds or desire for authenticity for cars that were supplied from the factory, or going for the RS look. Same goes for the 964RS Cup I's...

So if its looks you want then a replica set is probably your most likely route. RH and possibly a few others do them, although they just dont look quite the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong!

and that's just per wheel

Which is why you need the wife to contribute if you want a full set

Yep - they are really pricey - been quoted £3500 for a set of 4 (apparently new)... I have looked at the VELOCE versions - cheap at £900 for set of 4 but just dont look right...

WHY am I looking for a set...? Visually, a stunning set of wheels that sets off the 993 shape well...

BUT great feedback and comments - THANK YOU... Maybe stick with my current ones :) ...

What about ROOCK ? Any thoughts on them ...?

ROOCK are well regarded AFAIK, their wheels look good IMO, there is a member here selling a used set (not split rim) for a very fair price.

Another option is Cargraphics...check them out on user '993C2S' in the forum garage.

Agreed, trouble is the 993 RS Speedlines aren't very dished at all. 964 3.6 Turbo Speedlines are much better on a 993 WB IMO. RH Alurad do excellent replicas.

Chris, this is correct for Cup 1 Mags, but not 993 RS wheels. They are made of aluminium and are tough wheels. Ironically, being fitted to the RS, they are one of the heaviest 993 wheels made! The problem with them is not with cracking, but more with corrosion, due to the diamond turned and lacquered outer rims - these corrode very easily.

Chris & James, cheers for mentioning the Cargraphics which I have for sale :thumb: Specific 993 WB fitment, super deep dish, lightweight and in mint condition :D

Only advertised on this fine forum. After that I'll bung them on the other usual places.

Now if you could just cut the rear panels off as well I would have them

Sad the cars going Bud

I stand partially corrected! Apparently they did produce them for 993 Cup cars with magnesium centres, but as standard they were aluminium.
