Hi,

I'm just selling my older Honda Civic Type R and I've been offered a cracking deal on my number plate:

P991 MUF

I didn't really want to blindly sell it into the trade and wanted to give you Porsche owners the opportunity to buy it.

Sensible offers over £1250 only please....would make a lovely Christmas present for the right car.

Just drop me a PM.

I can hardly control myself.

now if it was MAF instead of MUF !

There's no need for that.

I know you guys get loadzathrillz seeing the ladiez in ya motor, so MUF in terms of magnet would be perfect.

Had quite a lot of interest in other places, so thinking it's under-priced....be quick!

I can't believe no one has ripped your arm off for it!

I'd love it on my 991 :thumb:

Whilst admitting we are all different, I never really understand why anybody would buy a 'cherished' plate that relates to the car they are driving at that moment

a) Everybody can see what the car is, why is it necessary to tell them again with a number plate? (This from one who has debadged a number of cars)

b) You can't 'cherish' it. If you sell the car you have to let the plate go, or look a bit silly at best.

Still I sincerely wish you luck in finding a 991 owner adolescent enough to think that something that spells 3/4 of the word 'Muff' is a cool thing to decorate their beautiful car with. There's no accounting for taste.

Seriously, if you've had any offer, take it, the plate IMO is worthless

Does it come with the car ? Whats the full spec of the car ?

:dont know:

Am I missing something but can't see why anyone would want that registration number unless you interests lie in one of the following:

* MUF (programming language), or "Multi-User Forth", a Forth derivative used in TinyMUCK and descendants
* Maximum usable frequency, the highest usable frequency in ionosphere-reflected radio transmissions, at some point in time
* Moderata Ungdomsfà¶rbundet, or Moderate Youth League, the Swedish Moderate Party's youth organization
* MUF, the station code of the Manchester United FC Halt railway station
* muf - a group of artists and architects specialising in public realm design based in London [1]
* müf - stands for Methacton Ultimate Frisbee, an ultimate frisbee team from Methacton Senior High School

:?

Make sure you vehicle is insured before you sell it - Not on the Insurance database?

Would the premium be £1250 by any chance? :?: :?:

Its a shame I cant afford a 991 - Otherwise I would snap that off you hands within a moment....

....and then chuck it into a compost bin in the hope that it would come to some use

Good luck!! :thumb: :thumb:
