Heated seats and headlamp washers not working.

Hi all, just thought I would share my experience with you all.
As a direct result of this fantastic forum, I found out that my heated seats and headlamp washers, which were not working, were linked, and had to be "awoken" by plugging into the porsche diagnostics tool!
All well now, and very welcome now that the cold has set in.
Thanks to you all.
I do wonder however why they would turn themselves off in the first place.
 
this generally happens when a battery has been replaced

or if a battery is low on voltage and it shuts systems down on the multiplex network to send power where it needs it more and then takes porsche piwis to re-awake the sytems..

more often than not its the heated seats that suffer.
