5mm Spacers?

Has anyone had the optional 5mm spacers fitted? Does the wider track effect the handling?

Looking to fit them my Gen 2 C2S with 19" Sport Design Alloys.

I think I have them on my car - as fitted by an OPC, but not by me, the previous owner did it at some point.

It feels fine to me, but I have no base to compare it against as I've not driven the car without them on :dont know:

How on earth can you make a comparison about driving the car with the spacers off, when you only think they are there in the first place.

However thank you for brightening up my day with what I believe is the funniest non answer to a post I've read in quite a while.
