to me it's the miami vice look that makes it work just so well.

there is a GMUND car for almost 70k so makes this look well worth the money and maybe with a bit of discount almost a better deal than a 964 speedster bargain. If there was such a thing.

I'm off to look out my white jacket and pink t-shirt.....and loafers of course!! Very Happy

Lol!

That's awesome..
It's totally Miami Vice though, as the comments above suggest, it should come complete with a briefcase, Filofax, linen suit and a greasy semi-mullet haircut!

Class.

lol at Cue!
I see you wasted no time in embracing my suggested look!

To be fair, if it was 1985 I WOULD be dressed like that and be driving that car! In fact, what the hell, you are right, it's still an awesome car and a great look now!

You know it makes sense!

Make sure you get a Chris Craft powerboat and a pet crocodile while your at it....

I reckon the interior will guarantee low mileage or night driving + very little passenger seat use. Smile

I may be wrong but it looks like the previous owner has swivelled the speedo around so that the needle faces the 6 o clock position .. He possibly saw an old RS with the rev counter this way but got confused when he went to do it himself Grin
Wouldn't it be fun if this was the case!

1997 Porsche 993 Turbo

nice car there Jonny.........anything different about owning a 930 FN to a standard one?

I just think my 993 is too close to the 997 but freally want an iconic garage toy also.

If I could get a private sale then I would go for a FN as my tradein figures don't make it that attractive, well not from PS or the other well know indi's.

Paul seems a good enough bloke so awaiting him coming back to me on a deal but not sure if he's really that keen on taking my car for some reason other than what I want for it.

Can you PM me what you think the car at Paul Stephens is worth and maybe your thoughts on it?

Cheers
Paul

not much ! Mr. Green except maybe people do kinda go 'wots that then'
a lot more Very Happy

best thing is the look of it -the vented rear arches and front wings do it for me !

with a few mods to engine and suspension they can be as good as any more modern porsche Thumb

as for prices they vary a lot really does depend on the car( espicallty interrior/exterior colour as a lot of FN were custom order and came in pretty wild colours inside and out ) and the number that are about for sale at the time......... i had to go stateside to get a black/black one Floor

here's another pic for ya Cool .........do it !

I can see why you like it, but personally I don't like the flat nose design as much as the standard 930.
Still, it's a good thing we all have different ideas Very Happy
