OK....so get in car (997S) - press clutch & turn key....nothing happens....move clutch up & down - try key a few times....& then it does start.....but sometimes takes a far amount of trial & error

Anyone else had this - and how did it get resolved?

Yes. I bought the car (2006 997 C2S) in April and had this happen quite a few times and the garage replaced the two microswitches under the clutch. It hasn't happened since although I have only had the car back a couple of days

No sorry, it was replaced under "warranty". Been out today a few times and still behaving itself
