I noticed today that one of the tips has started shedding some of it's chrome coating and it's annoying the hell out of me for ome reason. What is the warranty on them as the car and PSE is over two years old now.

Has anyone replaced these and if so how much did it cost? Did you think about getting them chromed?

tips on them normally come up sparkling with fine wire wool and some autoglym car polish... usually come up mint....

to replace they cost around £150 each...

I use Autosol to be honest but there is definately chrome coating flaking off. As for £150 each, Gulp! :what:

ring pcgb see if they can help at all after all they shouldn't be flaking after a couple of years.......

I too use '0000' wire wool with some heavily diluted shampoo in a spray then afterwards meguiars metal polish. I would have thought that if wire wool doesn't remove the chrome, nothing should.
