Hi, I have an early non-varioram 993 Carrera. I have renewed the standard shock absorbers, front top mounts, wishbone bushes, roll bar drop links, steering arms etc and now I would like to take the car to somewhere that understands the ins and outs of a standard geometry set up. I have been to Paragon and do not wish to return. I used to own an Elise and it was only when I discovered Sinclaire of London that I discovered how it should behave. I really do not want to repeat the process of paying so called experts for incompetence before I stumble across the right people. Why, may you ask, have I gone for standard set up? Well, most specialist manufacturers like Lotus and Porsche do have just an inkling how to do these things and most of the time the modifications I have experienced,,,well..no matter how much I kid myself detract from the original set up (albeit a compromise). I also live in Sussex, the land of rubbish road surfaces. Hopefully someone out there knows a specialist who, like Sinclaire of London, will make my car behave like a 993 should. Any suggestions gratefully received.
