Hi,

At a recent visit to my local Porsche specialists JMG, I looked at a sexy 996 Turbo and loved the fact it had very very wide rear tyres.

Which has had me thinking ever since..

My current rear wheels could do with a bit of a refurb, and I am interested in maybe replacing them with some of those damn fine wider examples.

Is it possible to fit the 11J 996 turbo rear wheels to a 2002 996 C2?

think you might have scrubbing issues there

Not Turbo wheels, because the offset is designed for the widebody (which yours is not). You can fit 11J's on a narrowbody 996, however... you need a different offset wheel - the GT3 wheels are 11J in the rear, and they have an offset suitable for the narrow body.

The narrowbody needs an offset of 65mm, the widebody 45mm. Somehow I don't think 20mm spacers will help matters much.
