1997 Porsche 993 Carrera 2

PostPosted: Mon Jun 04, 2007 8:38 pm    Post subject: GT, R & RS OWNERS SURVEY...which do / did you own ?? Reply with quote

So which one do you or have you owned??

Based on the original car, i.e. Model type of road going car. Not the end product of modifications and upgrades.

Assuming I've got all the variants & years listed correctly, please advise if it's not the case!

(UK Models & Dates listed)

as you have only 1 vote, for owners who have been lucky enough to own more than one, vote wisely!

regards

the car belongs to a friend of a friend and the deal is done subject to an inspection a week on Friday. It's a 1996 car with half cage covered in leather, full leather bucket seats and race harnesses on inertia real and mint condition. I'll let you know if all goes well but I have no doubts in my mind that it will be A1,
cheers Graeme

Nope, phew!!. - its my car and its now a keeper.

The car needed discs / pads / lsd plates / clutch / struts / ns wheel bearing / lower arm and some minor paintwork. Rather than spend the money having the car bought upto 100% condition and sell we have agreed that I keep the car.

The car is also having full service and geo set up and will be as new once its all done. The money being spent on the car and the fact I cant find another car to replace it means its staying for the time being.

The good thing is through this Greame will teach me to drive it properly now !!

Can i click the link ?!?!?!

Mike.

Your car looks amazing Cool Cool Cool . One day I will have one of these - until then will have to make do with a humble TT...

Is the car still on German plates?

btw - can you give any advance details of the book you mention?

Im still waiting to hear from Tom what the book is called.

The car is now on UK plates, these photos were from a year ago when I bought the car.

Email my if you want more photos so it doesnt use up too much space on the thread - lets see other photos of some GT/RS cars....

thanks for the comments
