what make is known to be good for the 996 TT? - Had a UUC on my M5 which was awesome, and fairly reasonably priced, wonder what the consensus here is?

thanks

Should imagine that there's a Porsche one available - tried Carnewal?

Best to stick with OEM if there's one available

Do a search on eBay for a B&M one, it's B&M that make the Porsche OEM. I had one in my C4S for 2+ years, a vast improvement over the standard....now do I do it to the GT3?

Word to the wise.....it can make cold morning shifts very stiff!

Alternatively, go for the Manthey short shift. It's not as aggressive as the B&M one. Manthey version reduces throw by 23%, whereas the B&M version reduced throw by 35%. I've got the Manthey version in my car and it is perfect once warmed up! Astounding billet ally construction too. :)

And here's one on UK eBay from Shortex (?)

Funnily enough I was looking at this earlier today amongst other things. 8)

JZM do the Manthey one at £650 (22% reduction) Parr have two different types - one giving 35% reduction the other 25%. Haven't got the prices yet.

thanks guys - the B&M one looks good - will need to find someone who can ship to the UK. If its good enough for Porsche & Gemballa its good enough for me ;o) and i dont use the car everyday so unlikely to get too frustrating - (ever driven a 348 ferrari!?)

The shortex one maybe the impersonating one the bloke on the US ebay is talking about??

cheers
