3.2 Brake Pedal and system?

Im having some trouble with my brakes on a 3.2 Carrera 911. Ive fitted a new brake master cylinder and have bleed the brakes using the correct method but my pedal still doesn't want to come back up to it start position easily and the brakes only go on once the pedal is all the way down. What am i doing wrong ?

It sounds like the system isn't air tight.
