Becker Grand Prix in a 1999 car??

keep seeing things about optical links etc and wondered if anyone knows whether the becker grand prix 7990 with ipod connector will work (properly) in a 1999 car? Also, does it work with the CDC-3 cd changer?

I need to upgrade the stereo in mine as frankly 6 cds is no choice at all and i refuse to get my cassettes out of the loft :eek:).

Should be fine in a 1999 car.

I think the IPOD connector may use the CD changer connection, so you may loose this functionality. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

thanks Jay, i've heard that also, means i may have room for an amp and sub in the boot then possibly...
