So - I tried to change to my new alloys today, but had a slight problem. I couldn't loosen the locking wheel nuts. All the others came off quite easily.

This was really quite annoying.
Will have to get a bigger torque wrench from work!

Does anyone know how tight they should be in Nm?

Have you tried using the locking wheel nut socket? I find it works quite well on these bolts

Are you using the standard wheel brace? If you've got an old scaffold pole use that for extra leverage. Try a little WD40 to ease it slightly.

I think it's 96lbs/ft torque.

I'm sure my torque wrench is 120 lbs/ft and it is just spinning round. God knows how far they tightened them.

Cheers, which is 96 lbs/ft (you were spot on Damian). Mine are at least 163Nm - time for a bigger wrench!
