Xenons on a 964

Was speaking to Rob at 9m the other day about having xenons fitted to my car.

He said that he's had loads of problems with the little motorised deflector shield that switches between high and low beam breaking down

Anyone fitted xenons to theirs and if so which ones and any probs?

Hmm, guessing here, but does the 964 have one bulb which serves both dipped and high beam? If so the Xenon kit will have to be bi-xenon ie. a xenon bulb with a shield which pops out of the way when high beam is engaged.

993s use 2 bulbs - one for dipped one for high beam, so its easier as you just replace the dipped bulb with a static xenon version.

No idea Will, but I guess it's gonna be a weak spot of the kit. Maybe look for a top end kit with a better rep for quality?
