Hmmm,

Not a good colour, piccies do it no justice, it looks pink not red. I think if you want to sell a red car it needs to look a good solid deep red. Compare the colour in the ad with the red in my signature, same colour looks totally different.

Hi,

Just read the thread, even the colour should not create this depreciation. Has to be the present climate of interest rate hikes and people maxed out on credit.

996 C4S sales have taken a hammering over the last 10 months which has depressed me but not the same as this 997 C2s.

I would buy it if I could afford it - I love red.

Me too, and I 'm not a particular fan of red, but it has everything I would want on a car.

Still 3K more than trade though.

Oversupply, exactly what happened when BMW launched the E46 M3, I waited 18 months for a build date on one of the first SMG cars, serious depreciation when I came to sell it because of the saturated market.

Porsche are building too many cars to the detriment of resale values.

Such a shame really, nice spec car.

It will still lose £6K per year for the next three years. Highly worth it though, if you ask me.
