Valeting guru's, i call upon your wisdom.

I have at my disposal the following products and was wondering on the best combo and sequence to use them in for my forth coming new year clean up......

Zymol HD cleanseZymol Cleaner WaxZymol carnuba wax (from introductory pack)All appropriate applicators / towels

I shall also purchase a klay bar and spray but must admit to be being a bit unsure about how to klay the car properly.

Any advice appreciated

It goes:

Wash,Klay, HDcleanse,Wax.

Not 100% sure what the cleaner wax is. The klay is very esy, I take a small piece on my finger and then spray the bodywork and lightly rub. I do about a square foot at a time.

Which wax is it? They are applied differently (but always in straight lines).

Cheers SP, that's helpful.

The wax is not carbon etc. just a carnuba wax which came as part of an introductory pack. The cleanser wax is one i've used before. Its a kind of mix of cleanser and wax as far as i'm aware and should do the job between major valets.

The instructions on the wax are to hand apply (in straight lines)

The only thing with the wax is that it should ideally to put on in the warm (15degs+). So best to do it in a garage at this time of year - if one is available. Putting it on by hand, will help with the warmth.

The Cleaner Wax is horrible... and AFAIK it's made by TurtleWax on behalf of Zymol. It's not the same as the rest of the Zymol range waxes.

Zymol Clear - or any good car shampoo would be best for the initial wash.

or anything PH balanced... so the wifes expensive face wash would be ideal....
