Morning all. My gear stick is a bit scratched etc and so I was considering a new one.

I have seen some for sale that come with the stick and leather surround but my question is this.

How easy are they to change?

Do you need a bigger knob to grip in the cockpit then Phil

Size does matter

you should see a doctor

I also am interested in the answer, as my knob was bigger in the C4S and I like the the feel of a big knob when I am changing gear, and wouldnt mind a large Carbon Fibre Knob to grip when changing gear, so much nicer

So it's not just the size but it's the feel of it too?

That depends on how many coats you give it and how hard you buff to shine it up. Do you also have to cleanse and clay beforehand as well though?
