Just politely say "Honey we need to spend a little more cash on the car for safety reasons, it'll be worth it in the long run"
I'm sure Mrs Manthey will understand. :) :)

Don't mention the bit about a Tart, it could all go wrong quickly  :)

Are the brake calipers still Yellow - won't that clash on an orange car?

Or do you mean an extra £9k? 6k for the PCCBs, then an extra 3k for the steels to replace them once it leaves the showroom? :?

Tart alert!

Hi Glenn, I'm sure Maxine will understand although you might have to agree to some thing of similar 'feminine' worth. Leave it a few weeks and say 'do you remember me saying to you......'

Glen,

realy surprised at this, as they really dont last, and after a few track days and 10k miles i forsee a thread,

"Wish I hadnt speced PCCB's"

hope it works for you, however very rare to hear anyone big them up.

Glenn,
Olaf himself has little confidence in them and he replaces them after every race on the 997Cup cars... :?
If your car were just used for the road (a la your TT), then sure they might make sense... but on the track? I'm not so sure as this is precisely the conditions when they are prone to failure...

And Chris is right, yellow doesn't go with the orange!

Your choice, but good luck with'em! :)
