Ive a 91 964 turbo with 8's on the front and 10's on the back, i believe the rear offset is 40, would offset of 47 fit? and would they be ok to use?

ive seen so much conflicting stuff regarding offsets.

you may be able to get away with 47 over 40

although you may need a spacer ?

but I'm not sure about the widths..... wasn't 17's OEM ?

I think the 964 3.6 Turbo 2 had 18's as standard...

17's were OEM, i have 18's split rims on at the moment that 2 need refurbing, i cant be arsed with having to worry about cleaning round screws or having to refurb every 5 minutes, so im going for a cup wheel
