Just the other day i fitted a new rad to the drivers side on my 996 cause it was leaking, fairly simple job. Things seemed to be ok and the coolant level is fine but for some reason whenever i drive the car hard the water temp warning light starts flashing slowly, i was under the impression that this was an indication of low coolant level but the coolant is fine. The light doesn't flash under normal driving.

Could it be an air lock? or something else?
