Here are a few pics of Manthey and the mods to the PolarExpress!

On the scales getting corner weighted...

K400 Conversion (manifolds, cats, boxes, remap)

Cup filter induction + Carbon shroud (ram-air induction)

Manthey KW suspension (3 way adjustable) + Uniball strut top mounts (increases caster upto 8deg, increases straightahead stability and more precise turn-in)

Cup front PU + canted RS radiator cooling (car now consistently runs cooler by about 10deg C)

Revised brake duct cooling (combo with Cup PU increases front end downforce by about 30kg)

              [/list:aMcScxJyaA]
And a few other bits of Manthey bling, but no photos yet...

Sweet! Just love the carbon air intake / cup filter - does it sound as good as it looks?

You moved to mk2 alloys as well I see, was that for weight ro for ease of cleaning?

The noise? Best ask So Poo! I love setting off the neighbours car alarms... Twisted

Mk2 alloys - less weight, easier to clean, and they also allow you to run a wider range of tyres including the Mk2 sizes which are easier to find (or sometimes just not available) in the Mk1 sizes. eg, PS2s, System Corsas etc. I also like the look of the Mk2 alloys as their curves better match the Mk1 cuuuurrves... I bet you do!

The Mk2 wheels look lovely. Much nicer than the Mk1 ones IMO.

Have to say that having spent best part of 4 days with Ade (ocean) and spent at least 8 laps with him around the ring.

The car sounds like the best part of sex Wink

And looks like the foreplay Wink

In the car park, just looked like any other moded GT3 till it got started, and then it was the star of the show, provided the Gay lardo wasant around.

Lush car, and so fast, so loud.

Hopefully so!

The cats and zorst are still bedding in on mine... she's still rather noisy at the mo(!), so I need to put a few miles on her to burn out the gunk and quieten her down. Once settled, she should pass static, but I may have to lift/shortshift pass the mics...

Fingers x'd!

Ade, you b"stard Wink
Looks good, love the RS intakes on the bumper.

So thats new Alcons all round
K400
Manthey Suspension
Other bits
MK2 alloys
You must have spent almost enough to have got a MK2 and nearly even an RS!!!!!!!!

Just go back from JZ (picked up some 5mm spacers for my new fronts, and was discussing the k410 kit with Steve, over 7k and thats just engine and exhaust mods, god knows how much you just spent on all that little lot, I have decided no more money is to be spent on upgrades, I am saving it for a Silver 997GT3 comfort, just need to be patient for 18months! I am in love with the new Gt3!

Like the Mk2 alloys BTW, where did you pick em up? I now have two sets!

Hey Stu! Well, put it this way, I love my '3 a lot! Embarassed

I picked up the Mk2 wheels for a good price so that helped quite a bit. If you know of another set for sale, let me know as I'm looking for a second set to switch between roadies and track tyres.

Great call on the Silver '7GT3... I think it's deffo the best colour on the new shape based on the photos available. GT Silver is stunning...
