at this point I think the ghost of eff will haunt me for even thinking of change.......
ok, the 993 targa is a great car, hell it is everything, a tourer, a track day machine and serious fun.....
but i've got the point where I need something more nimble, faster and more brutal..... as ultimately I'm not waiting for the next time to drive the car but the next time I take it on track, as ever spine chilling bump on the london roads reminds me, my car needs to be set free, where places like the Nurburgring make me reaslie that I need more power and less weight, especially if I'm every going to keep up with that taxi for more than half a lap !
well before those family choices arrive, so I figure here is my chance to stop being the almost guy and consider a more track day focused car....
choices, now these can extend beyond the Porsche family and then may not be more than 6 years old where a Porsche may be up to 10 years old....
but the 3 key points.... irrespective of what some may hear, I need to make an informed choice and be open to all options......
i) must have at least 6 cylinders (the vocal is as important)
ii) rear wheel drive (I hate understeer!)
iii) and if it must have some more of playstation intervention it must have a function to turn the damn thing off !!!! ABS is a minimum requirement...
