Started yesterday, and finished this morning

Have washed, dried, washed again, dried my car then

I detailed all the plastic/rubber black trim

then waxed the car

then took the wheels off, and cleaned inside and out with Wonder wheels.

Loads of work, however well worth it

Noticed a bit of pitting in my windscreen, nothing I can do for that I guess.

Did the Lotus today, the zymol works, knackered me. But what a difference! I dunno how G-Unit did the Rangie in a day, that man must work like a trojan.

And what starts tomorrow? Wimbledon. And what is guaranteed during Wimbledon, apart from a Brit not winning? Rain! Keep it in the garage or all your good work will be in vain.

Hey Richard,

I take it that it does rain now and again in London, mostly during Wimbeldon fortnight

I had a genuine accident a few weeks ago with my windscreen on my BMW- I removed one of the wiper blades to clean with spirit, and the wiper arm suddenly flicked back onto the screen, causing a big crack. The Insurance company picked up the tab for a new screen, less a modest excess...

It would be a real shame if I had a similar accident,

Thanks Rob

Excess normally £50 but you have to use whoever your Insurance company approve usually
RAC Auto Windscreen or Autoglass
Be careful though, at renewal you will have to disclose you've had a windscreen claim and some companies will apply a loading.
