993 Alarm Problems

I have a 993 with just the standard factory fit alarm system. This goes off intermittently, I have chacked all the wiring contacts etc and so has a Porsche dealer even swapped the 'black box' under the passenger seat. Sometimes it goes for days/weeks with no trouble and other times it will not stop. I'd be happy just to disable it. Any ideas please?

i would check the radio contact , there is a spade connector to the radio cage and this can give problems, disconnect and tape up , also check the underbonnet lamp is going off
