Totally awful loses reception really easily. Can anything be done ?

I have a MY03 996 and no problems at all with radio reception...

check the wiring at the back, is the 1st thing to look at........

assuming you have the radio tools to extract the unit ?

My advice, buy a 993 :wink:

My reception is pretty poor on MW/LW but ok on FM.

Bad news when the cricket is on!

I haven't tried to do anything about it (except turn the volume up)!

I have poor reception also :oops:
.. just listen to MP3 CD's instead :D

You didn't buy a Porsche to listen to the radio though, did you? My 996 has pretty ordinary sound - certainly not a patch on our Audi A4.
