Hi there, has anyone fitted an ipod to a 997? (without any dashboard cradles etc) Id ideally like to fit it into the glove box or perhaps the centre console compartment without wires trailing everywhere.

thanksDan.

I assume you have investigated the FM radio transmitter option? I have the original, yet dated, Blaupunkt in my 3.2 and instead of ripping it out I have just purchased a tiny mp3 player (size of a pack of chweing gum) with FM transmitter. This gives me approx 10 CD worth of music wireless free played through the original stereo.

One thing I'll probably change though are the speakers. They are not up to the vocal range of Bruce Dickinson

Have you tried the denison ipod link, uses the aux/cd changer connection on the rear of the head unit, then you can control the ipod from the head unit, and leave it in the glove box. There are two types of unit one with a cradle and one without. It's available from www.essentialipod.co.uk next day delivery, the manufacturers site is http://www.densionusa.com/

they do all the top of the line stuff and are a bit more down to earth even if every other car is a Bentley or a Porsche !

or there is
