On Saturday on my way to a wedding near Eastbourne I had the misfortune to pull up to a roundabout and my clutch completely die on me. The pedal went dead and gear selection was obviously not goung to happen.

My query is that I have only just had a new clutch fitted 1000miles ago. The car is now left in a garage in on the A22 while I live in Bristol. I am told that the clutch is covered under warrenty by the specialist who fitted it but what do I do about the car and location. Is it the resposibilty of the porsche place to recover the car or does the garage on the A22 fix it and forward on the bill???

Help please I want my car back I miss her....dont tell the other half!!!

Charlie

Hey Charlie

My sympathies. You sound in despair!!

If you are covered by RAC or AA, You could ask them to tow the car to Bristol. I have done this before citing 'urgent reasons' for doing so.

Can't hurt to try.

Good luck
