Started the car up yesterday (996 tip), and the dot-matrix temperature display (the display in the main instrument pod) did something strange....the temp started showing something like 24 degrees and then counted down (like the oil level thingy) until it reached 16 degrees....car was cold, hadn't been run for a couple of days....most odd....anybody else ever seen anything like this? Impending doom/failure of a hideously over-priced part?!
