i think from the mechanics of it you would have to remove your soft-top to fit the hard top; not a bolt-on when the roof is down like a 996/boxer...

probably why porsche only ever made a few hardtops for the 993: i guess if it involved a huge ballache to swop hardtop on/off you might just buy a coupe with a sunroof or get the targa...

:dont know:

Whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know any sleeker hardtops, with full side rear windows and less bulbous flanks, for the 996 2000 Cabriolet? I like the one I have but the shape could be better..

Try a company called D.Moris Equipments (French) - looks good on their website & yes, you will need to remove the hood (not that difficult, but not an everyday thing). :thumb:

Kind of sums up Stroseks for me. :nooo:

I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But, to me, their conversions are a quick way to make your pride and joy reseamble a kit car.....

Strosek

Messing decent cars up since the 80's - Miami Vice'esque.

Lyrics hit the spot as well
"I don't know whether to laugh or cry"

I'M IN THE CRY CAMP !
THEY SHOULD BE LYNCHED FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO THOSE 993'S
