Have shortlisted my first 911 to a 1986 3.2 Carrera Coupe with 96K miles & specialist history.

The problem is I need someone to beable to do a mobile PPI in Kent(sittingbourne/Sheppy) ASAP

Any ideas?

This guy will travel and was recommended to me when I had a similar question to you. Not sure what his travel costs are but I seem to remember they were very reasonable and the chap seemed very nice!

Neil Harvey is quite busy at the moment but I have convinced the owner to take the car to Chilhams in Canterbury for a PPI next week.

Its a 1986 Iris Blue 3.2 Carrera Coupe with 96K miles on the clock. It's had 7 owners & the present chap has had it for 6 years and only done 5K. Other then a few chips on the exterior and slightly scuffed drivers seat it seems in good nic! What would be a reasonable price for this?

Will keep you posted on results of PPI!

I think you said elsewhere it was going for around 11k. This sounds like a reasonable price to me for a 915 3.2 The big check I would want is a leak-down test. The 3.2s are known to wear value guides prematurely in some cases. A leakdown test would show this up. Often, however, it is extra to a basic PPI. Make sure the specialist does it for you - shouldn't be more than an hour's work, so around 40 quid.
