HELP! 993 American Bumperettes

Anyone any experience in removing American Bumperettes on a 993? I have found a lovelly 1996 993 in mint condition but it was bought by a local banker whilst he was in Dubai.

Unfortunately it has the American Bumperettes fitted and i don't think i will buy the car if i cannot sort out how to remove them. To me they look rather unsightly!

Any suggestions or experience, much appreciated!

They CAN be removed, just I dont know how.

Thanks... I am sure thay can come off, but the ones on th efront appear to leave a bit of a gap above the side lights / indicator cluster.

If anyone has had it done proffessionally and is happy with the result, please let me know where, when, how etc...
