Hi,

Has anyone had an event cancelled? There's a Silverstone GP event next week and as yet, no info coming from Silverstone?

Many thanks,

Stuart

I know a couple of guys that have Spa booked in May and Spa has shut all events until 3rd April and I assume this closure will get extended, as will other events?

https://www.spa-francorchamps.be/en/circuit-spa-francorchamps-suspends-its-activities-until-3rd-april-inclusive

I have a couple of Track Days I was looking at over the next couple of months but I think I will hold off booking for the time being, until there is more news.

What I don't understand is that a track day has at most 100 people in attendance and you are mostly on your own in your car apart from the briefing which could be done in an alternative way. I understand race events being cancelled due to numbers attending but a track day should IMO still go ahead.

Javelin have not made any announcements on up coming events.

One measure they could put in place is to only have the briefing for anyone who has never done a track day at all or has done less than 2 or 3 at that particular event. That would empty the room of 75% of people present. Just a thought.

That and no kissing the noise tester when your rorty GT 3 passes the noise test Hand

The IOM TT has been cancelled, the Scottish 6 day trial, all Autograss meetings cancelled till April then reviewed......... just the ones I have an interest in.
I can`t see it getting better for some time.

I think the lack of available medical cover will be the nail in the coffin.

I`ve just checked on the Donington Park/MSV website and Javelin website and they are still selling tickets for 4th May track evening event, there is a statement re COVID19 stating that all race events have been cancelled until 30th April, It seems to only be effecting race events and not non-spectator events so hopefully our Zuffenhaus trackday will still be good to go Grin
