Has anybody manage to find / buy seat covers which are tailored to the 991 seats. I've searched the net but could find anything worth getting.

Also is there anything to protect the sill (where boot release buttons are).

Thanks

Hi, I bought a tailored cover from over the top and it’s excellent. TBH it rarely gets used as I bought it to take my dog on a few jollies but now we’ve got 2 muts she’s been relegated to the boot of the golf!
If I remember correctly it cost about £100 but it has a full rubberised backing and has a handy seat front flap

What is it you are trying to protect the leather from?

You might want to consider a leather protectant rather than some dodgy covers? Dont know

I know what you mean, my car has a near white interior Rolling Eyes but I would try and enjoy it as designed. Leather is pretty robust, fairly easy to clean and relatively easy to repair, when you come to sell it.

There are quite a few products available to help protect from dirt, dye transfer and day to day use. I have used both of these to good effect on many cars:

https://www.colourlock.com/leather-cleaning-care-kit.htmlhttps://www.lttleathercare.com/product/auto-leatherguard/

You can even get ceramic coatings for leather now!
https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/cquartz-leather-vinyl-coat-30ml

I recently used a colourlock kit to repair / dye the bolster on my drivers seat (see below). Finally, I avoid using any creams on the leather. I find it leaves them too shiny / slimey, rather than a matt finish you get as new.
