I've accidentally pulled the above too hard...and the plastic release cable has come away from the aperture that comes from behind the cars drivers side A post..is this difficult to refit...I first thought that was the normal way of releasing the fuel filler flap 😭😭😭 any advice appreciated 👍

Dont think it is difficult, its fitted from the OS wheel arch remove iner covers and it should be accessable.
Got to do mine this weekend let you know how it goes.

Tried to do mine last weekend, got the inner liner off but I could not get to it, the filler pipe and a lot of other bits were in the way.
Did not have time to strip it all out might get my garage to do it.

When you find it, it’s worth cable tying it to something so it remains accessible. Same for the bonnet release.
