Hi All was looking for some advice as winter begins I like to have a little project going on this year it is to tackle the suspension & springs on my 2004 997,

My local specialist that I use occasionally is recommending Bilstein B4 with 30mm lowering springs which all sounded good when I started looking at this. Unfortunately, when I went to the NEC classic car show bumped in the Bilsetin rep which was no surprise because he was on the Bilsetin stand. So, I told in the vehicle I was really looking for fast road use/ possible track day he recommended Bilsetin B12 Pro-Kit and proceeds to bang on about shock travel distance and viscosity of oil. So Now at this point I would like to point out I'm not a complete novice. Undertaking quite a lot of work on my car myself.

I would really be grateful if there is anybody out there that actually has either of the aforementioned kits fitted and could give me some good feedback before I make a complete and utter hash, and waste a lode of cash. Catalogues not very helpful it seems to have them pitched roughly at the same level performance and handling wise so completely confused.
I look forward to hearing from somebody hopefully.

James...K
