 Im back in a 911 and loving it!!!

Picked up a 997.1 C4S Manual last week. Series of events led me to this car, however im over the moon. Really excellent example on 60k miles with full Porsche history. Had Borescope & ppi at Porsche whilst I bought from a local specialist.

Whislt at Porsche they replaced the IMS oil seal and thats all it needed.

Its Artic Silver with Coco interior, id never seen this combo and really impressed.

Ive covered 200 miles in the week as this is my daily driver and cant stop kicking myself.

As you can see, im super stoked to be back in the fold and look forward to finding time to catch up with you lovely lot - although its winter, dont frown on me for daily driving it. haha its going to be getting a full machine polish and Ceramic coating.

First off, I need bluetooth! Ive orderd a 2g simcard for now, however looking at the systems to plug into the frunk to replace the Cd changer. Would like to keep the Nav OE if I can. Will see how I get on with that Nav lol.

:bye:

Lovely! Cocoa interior looks great.
Enjoy

Cue GMG with the bo...... :wack:

Welcome back - nice motor

Great car in a great colour combo , i'm 6 months into my 997 C4 , try as i might the car seems unflappable on any surface , even cracking on into wet bends i just can't worry it , , , , after a few rwd ZM roadsters followed by a couple of twin turbo e89 Z4 i'm finding the awd flat 6 a very accomplished all rounder :thumb:

Lovely.

Cocoa leather, a good find. Adds a touch of class. It's also what they put in the 997SC.

Enjoy. 8)

Well done that man. Sounds like a lovely car and certainly looks tidy from the pics.
These are fantastic cars to daily drive and have some fun with on weekends after a cheeky Saturday morning wash. Absolutely ceramic coat the thing. It makes cleaning so much easier, especially, and I can't stress this enough, when washing the wheels.

En-blooming-joy.

...my personal hygiene is exemplary :D

Love the cocoa interior; has to be the best colour and rare...lovely...

Welcome back and hope to see it at one of the local meets :thumb:

Thanks everyone, I am very much looking forward meeting new and seeing old faces soon.

I got a SIM card in the car now, so rocking old school telephonics haha!

Superb looking car. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Real men wear Cocoa :bandit:

Nice to see another Porsche being used as a MTB carrier.

I've just removed a Transit BLU Bluetooth from mine. Worked well but wasn't happy with the sound quality, plus the install was on the radio live so it was drawing current after the car was switched off.

Super convenient and looks to be really easy to fit (even easier to rip out).

If there's an easy way to plug Bluetooth in replacing the CD changer, I'm all ears, as it seems like a much better solution that via an FM signal.

Slumming it to pick up the tree today. Still love how very capable these cars are. And yes, the kids are in the back 😊
