In need of a bit of guidance on a fault code that has started following a major service and gearbox oil change. I've started to notice some hesitation when accelerating from low revs.
The OBD2 screenshots are below:
I suspect something is not right with the MAF sensor looking at the data???
Any advice welcome _________________ 2007 997 C2S Cobalt Blue

Might want to check they have plugged the maf sensor wiring back on as it doesn't sound like it .
Fault code is for a dead maf ..
The readings you have posted .. if they are with the engine running then the maf is certainly dead.
Air intake at -40 is a default non registering maf ..
Maf at 0 grams per sec is also a non registering maf . _________________ .

Spot on diagnosis as usual deMort. Found MAF unplugged plus another cable and what I think is a vacuum pipe? Plugged the 2 cables back in and all is fine. Not sure where the black pipe connects though.
It looks like all the cables were unplugged for the belt change that I forgot to mention was done. The air filter was untouched as I've got a BMC one. _________________ 2007 997 C2S Cobalt Blue

Yup .. airbox is removed for a drive belt change and they forgot to plug it back in ..
Easy mistake to make so don't blame them too much .. we are after all only human .
EDIT ..
Black pipe goes into a rubber elbow on that grey electric valve ... its to do with sound i believe .. never really taken much notice of it to be honest as it does not cause a fault . _________________ .
