Remember the adverts?

OK, I didn’t get a massage from a fit young brunette while chatting with Tom. But hey, there’s always room for improvement.

On the car selling side of things, there isn’t much. They’ve been very, very good.

It’s refreshing to see a business whose model seems to be based on happy customers nowadays. It should actually be quite simple though: make sure your product is high quality, provide excellent service after you’ve sold your product and your customers will come back to buy more.

I will.

To back up that praise: I bought a 997.1 C4S from 911 virgin in June. It was perfect for me: wide body, low mileage, good history and in excellent condition. I had been looking for a 996/997 for around two years and was on the verge of just giving up and buying an M3 when Tom came to the rescue. All the cars I had seen up to that point were either future (and present) money pits or really poorly described. It seems like ‘great condition’ can sometimes mean ‘only half of the underside is corroded’.

The 997 I bought felt like a new car. And trust me, I had been in and had driven dozens prior to that.

My 997 did have a few problems though. But every single one of them was remedied promptly and without fuss. The baffle went in one of the exhaust silencers and Tom dutifully arrived to pick up my car and had it back to me a few days later with a new box. The coffin arms started creaking like old floorboards and that was taken care of just as seamlessly a little while later.

The great thing is that at no point did it feel like they were ‘doing me a favour’. I simply picked up the phone or sent an email and Tom took care of the problem, whatever that was. There was also a feeling that they genuinely wanted to take care of you. And that’s a nice feeling when you’re spending what (for me) is a lot of money.

In short: you get what you pay for. My car wasn’t the cheapest on the market. But it feels to me like it was one of the best. Add to that the service I’ve received up until now and it all simply makes sense: 911 Virgin are the good guys.

Tom must chuckle when he reads these reviews! Something so simple that 99.9% of other dealers get so very wrong Dont know

Well done as ever 911v Thumb

I'd say more effort goes into happy customer experience than sales at 911v - extraordinary - I'd send my granny or wife to buy a car from 911v (I have in fact Smile)

Some of the other reviews in this section makes for sobering reading (Gmund, etc.) It never ceases to amaze me how people can take such a short term view.

It's not just dealers. A lot of cars I've seen privately were 'five yard pretty' but pretty rough when you took a closer look with a PPI, etc.

Hence why my pride and joy will be having it's 'waxoil service' (as DeMort calls) it soon to keep it good.
