2001 996 C2 - split rims - spacers required?

Hello All. I would be very grateful for your advice on whether fitting my new (second hand) wheels will require fitment of spacers at the rear.

Current wheels are 18" solid spoke Turbo 1s:
fronts - 8J ET 52
rears - 10J ET 65

The replacements are 18" OZ Superleggera IIIs:
fronts - 8.5J ET 44
rears - 10J 63

By my reckoning (i.e. using the wheel offset calculator at www.1010tyres.com), the OZ fronts will extend outwards by an extra 14mm, and the OZ rears will extend outwards by an extra 2mm. I am hoping that this will not present rubbing issues. Leaving that to one side, there will be a 12mm change in the width between front and rears. Should I think about fitting 12mm spacers to the rears in order to balance this out?
 
Your maths appears correct, visually I reckon it'll look fine without the spacer, though will equally work with as well.

Handling wise, not sure and I'll defer to those that know more, but but I suspect that you won't notice any difference with / without the spacer. Geo set up will more more influential.
 
If OEM tyre sizes are used there's a possibility of fronts rubbing. 5mm spacers are the norm generally without issue however you may be pushing your luck with the extra 1/2" wheel width + 8mm offset difference.
Rears shouldn't pose a problem and will probably take a 5mm spacer providing the car isn't slammed.

Front are fine, Ive run 8.5in et45 with zero issues on the front.

As you say the rear wont really be spaced out the same, 12mm should get them sitting nicely with zero rubbing issues.

Ive run 10in et38 before with 265/35 tyres with zero rubbing.
 
Thanks for the replies, much obliged. Tyres on the OZ wheels are 225/40 and 265/35. Looks like I will purchase spacers and just see what happens. I will post photos before and after.
 
I reckon 15mm would be spot on then. That would be et48. Again Ive run et45 rear on 10in with 265 tyres and it looked like below. Front in the photo is et45 8.5in with 225/40.

Sweet stance there!!! Thanks for the advice - I will look out for 12 or 15mm spacers.
