I often joke with people I meet on my tours and events that if something goes wrong with my TVR it's "character" but if something goes wrong with a Porsche it's "a fault" Very Happy

They are quite good little units and do the job we need them to do. They also are useful for asking for coffee when your sitting feet up watching the TV Grin Grin

7.Scarletborder (Phil) plus 1

Faried has come up with the plan .

Those in Dorset with leave at 7.45am

Phil 997 and KJD
Porkee plus 1
DrJimBone
Rob and Nat (tbc)

Arrive at Portsmouth OPC 9am meet

Chaser
Kush
Richard (tbc)

head to tunnel arrive for the 12.20 crossing meet in the main car park by the cafe.

FRP
Jobay90
Scarletborder (Phil) plus 1
DucatiRob (maybe meeting at hotel in Reims tbc )

incase we get split up on train we will regroup at the services just as you leave the tunnel in Calais.

head to Reims stopping at the old race circuit en route
arrive at Hotel which is.

Hotel Mercure Reims Centre Cathedrale
have a few drinks and meal

Thursday morning breakfast then drive to Mercier for a 10.15 Champagne tour 25 euro this lasts 90mins

Then head to Oberhousen 4hr 45mins stopping for lunch enroute arrive Oberhousen aprox 6pm book into hotel then meet everyone else at the pagoda restaurant and drinks

Friday breakfast then head to show ground in the usual sort of broken up convoy lol.

after the show we will go to the classic remise in Dusseldorf about 20 mins away, this is optional some may want to do something else or return to hotel .

Fri evening out for meal and drinks

Sat morning breakfast and drive back to Calais to meet the
16.50 train home .

regroup in services UK side quick coffee fuel etc then head our separate ways .

Anyone wanting to go off plan eg head home earlier or meet enroute at any point this is no problem just let the group know your plan.

Ducati Rob you mentioned meeting us at the hotel in Reims and joining the group from there , is this correct

So, by my reckoning, there's currently 11 x Terry Tourists and 11 x Champagne Charlies leaving 5 unaccounted for.

All looks good. I’ve booked the Ibis Styles Reims Centre instead as there’s no twin rooms at the Mercure. The Ibis is just down the same street, is €122 for a twin with breakfast and free cancellation.
Will book crossing later.

Hi guys,

Thanks for sorting out the itinerary.

I’ve booked the crossing and the Hotel Mercure Reims Centre Cathedrale. I booked via Booking.com and they gave me a 10% discount code, money refunded after your stay.

I’ll meet you in the Eurotunnel car park, by the cafe.
