Jonnny , I will let Faried know as he was looking into a winery tour . maybe we can start a list of those interested in the champagne region option and start to plan where to meet up etc. Thumb Thumb

Hi all,
I am planning on going across on Thursday morning, perhaps travelling Wednesday and stay near the tunnel. I will be travelling from Stratford upon Avon. It would be good to meet up and travel together.
Haven’t booked the train yet so if anyone wants to meet can you let me know what time you have booked?
Thanks Very Happy

Hi Jonny

Hi everyone, and happy belated new year Laughing
Ive been lurking and looking and thought i would throw my 2p in Grin
What about, or something along these lines, or does someone have somewhere in particular to visit??

Tues 28 Apr Calais to Reims 170 miles, Time 2:30
Photos at classic circuit Reims-Gueux, dinner drink & bed)

Wed 29 Apr Reims to Nürburgring 225 miles, Time 3:30
Breakfast, look around or head off ?? Nurburg around 4/5pm
for spectating or driving the 'Ring' (open 17:15 to 19:30)
dinner + drinks Cheers + bed

Thu 30 Apr Nürburgring to Oberhausen 110 miles, time 1:45
Breakfast then steady drive to Oberhausen, Pagoda buffet +
more drinks Cheers

Fri 1 May Dinslaken show + Classic Remise Dusseldorf + more drinks
with dinner and a good nights sleep.

Sat 2 May Oberhausen to Calais 250 miles Time 3:30 and home

this is 740 miles and 4 x hotel nights leaving Tuesday getting back Saturday. So,lets get some input please as tunnel, hotels etc. only get harder to find and probably cost more the longer we leave it. Thumb Thumb

Just another idea, using the itinerary I posted but rather than visit Nurburgring, have 2 night's in Stuttgart V8 hotel, this would allow, Factory tour, museums etc then next day a steady drive North to Oberhausen with a stop off for lunch 👍
What does the Southern squadron think 😉

Book factory tours as early as possible. That week gets really busy.
