Hi, I have bought what Porsche call a 'reinforcement', part no.99351277700. It is meant to strengthen the spoiler to stop the plastic bending out of line with the engine lid, as it does after time due to the heat. It is a turbo part but can also be used on cars from 1997 apparently - why not all 993's I do not know.
I need help with installing it. I think it simply fits into a gutter in the spoiler underneath and I assume it will need to be glued in place once the excessively curved spoiler is straightened - am I right? and if so what would be the best adhesive to use?

You can tell I am running out of things to do!

yep, narrow u shaped bar, works a treat when glued in. there's a write up on here somewhere, but basically get your spoiler off, roughen the ridge where it fits, glue it in and clamp the spoiler straight while the glue dries. I used this glue...
