I honestly don't think it will matter two hoots what happened 12 years ago in it's past life! For gods sake it's a 20 odd year old 100k miler buy on condition.condition .condition! It's not a 10'000mile investment piece!

It’s as 20 odd year old classic........and the little details start to count more to value as they get more valuable. A 993 with a stamped original service book will be worth more than the same car without fact. Therefore without it the car is now worth less. Yes conditions etc......are more important and will affect value but the loss of the stamped original book will still decrease whatever that value is.

They havent admitted any responsibility in any way. Trouble is they dont really believe the book was in the box with all the service parts apparently, they say no, he say yes. Dont know

They recall everything that was in a box they threw away? *strokes chin*

If they were dumb enough to throw the box away I’d suggest they didn’t have a clue what was in it, otherwise they wouldn’t have thrown it away Mad

The book has gone, it was thrown away into recycling within a box by mistake. No malice, no sinister reasons, just a stupid mistake.

Owner apparently intends to be buried in car so no chance of it being for sale!

I think those who over invested in their old cars to make more perfect than they were when new has perhaps admit that in terms of investment the payback requires a measure of re-assessment after watching the news relative to climate change protests...??

As I have typed before best use and enjoy them as much as you can for as long as they let you, and that way you may even arrive at the happy situation where you can think that you managed to enjoy returns on your investment to then be in a situation where you can determine your Porsche owes you nothing..? Dont know

At which time the value of a service book may be re-assessed..?

Yep, because climate change protestor kids have yet to buy a house, car, take the family on Holiday and hold down a job...

Their views will change as will their priorities, just like Prince Arry and Me again Sparkle, they were absent from to day’s proceedings whilst kids with ADHD and learning difficulties spouted off about climate concerns, the good prince boarded a private jet to Italy where they attended her mates wedding......to an Oil Tycoon.......

But at least the kids had a day off school, like all the grown up protesters who don’t want to work..... they just protest and shout about anything that comes into their head ?

I’m quite looking forward to Mad Max style fuel refills, who’s not gonna enjoy that ?
