First post (be gentle)...I’ve had a 2003 996 4S for 6-7 years now and love the car, but I’ve never been in love with the wide 5 spoke factory fit wheels. I’d like to fit more ‘spikey’ type wheels with thinner spokes.

Are there any period correct such wheels available and/or later fits which might look period correct and retain the original look?

Any recommendations/ sources greatly appreciated 👍

Check out the HRE 527M

https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/vintage-series/527m

Or the 305M

https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/classic-series/305m

They have that retro, these could be RUF vibe.

Have always been a fan of the way the BBS CH-R looks on a 996 Cool

However, they're only available in 19 inch

You could also consider some 18 inch OZ Alleggerita wheels...

Period correct Porsche/BBS MY02's. Very light and strong however they only produced them for the narrow body cars.
Add some hubcentric spacers on the rears, job done. Bandit
