Worth clarifying that its for a convertible unless you fill the roof button hole.

Hint: this will also fit a 987.1

It will fit a 987.2 BUT you will either need to source a .1 roof button (plug and play into existing harness) or widen the button hole (I used a .1 button as I think they are better)

May be worth you also posting up on Boxa.net :thumb:

Thats a coupe console... no roof switch hole.... :thumb:

I can see a roof switch hole, or at least its the hole for a switch on the 987.1 which uses the same console :dont know:

Ie on the 'downslope" between the handbrake and cigarette lighter

thats not where a 997 switch goes (it goes on the flat section in front of the ash tray, you can see a casting mark for it on the underneath shot) all 997's come with a blanking plug for the bit you are talking about, so any 997 owner would already have that bit :thumb:

Ah OK, so its not for a converatbile 997 but it will fit a 987.1 boxster ie the hole is there for the roof switch and it will also fit a 987.2 boxster if you either source a 987.1 switch or widen to the hole to fit a 987.2 switch :thumb:

Strange that it has the hole for a 987 boxster roof switch cut out which has a blanking plate but not the hole for a 997 roof switch (I did not realise the roof switches where in different locations 997-987)

Actually, I am talking out of my ar$e! :floor:
The bit I'm talking about is the passenger airbag warning light on a 997.2 , you are 100% correct Jon :thumb:

Can I ***** up this for sale thread any more? :dont know:  sorry!
